No Kings Protest in Chaska
March 28 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
If you regularly join us for the protest on Saturdays in Chaska, please read below for the No Kings on March 28th
March 28th – No Kings. Join Us! Be Part of History. We have a chance to be part of history for No Kings 3.
The 3.5% rule comes from research by a Harvard scientist who found that no government has been able to withstand sustained resistance from more than 3.5% of its population. That means participation matters. Everyone who can attend should show up and take a stand that day.
Based on issues we experienced at past protests, we are making two key improvements this time:
- Parking
- Crowding, especially near Aldi and the dental office, where people were sometimes eight deep and it was difficult to walk.
To address this, we will spread out over a larger area. This will make parking easier and help people see just how many of us are standing together.
Parking and Protest Locations:
- 212 Transit Station
- 425 parking spots available
- Cross at the stoplight and spread northward
- We can protest on the bridge and be seen from Highway 212
- Please do not hang anything off the bridge
- 212 Medical Center Area
- We can stand in front of the medical center (but do not park there)
- Parking is available along nearby neighborhood streets and at the nearby school and park
- Target Area
- Target parking lot
- High school and middle school lots
- Lakeview Clinic
- Parking lot near Kwik Trip and Dairy Queen
- Additional Areas
- Cub Foods
- Goodwill
- Nearby commercial areas
- Our usual protest location
- Please do not park across the road at the apartment buildings.
Supplies and Community Support
Refreshments will be available at:
- Our usual location
- The Transit Center
- There will also be a sign library at each location.
I often talk about community, and this is one of the moments when we truly need it. Please consider helping by:
- Carpooling
- Bringing extra signs for people who may not have one
- Bringing a cooler with refreshments to share
- Because the protest area will be larger this time, I also encourage you to bring a chair.
- Wear your costumes, bring your cowbells, and get ready to stand up for democracy.

Sign library available. If you bring a sign, make it BIG and BOLD, as we are away from the highway for safety and want big signs for people to see!
